Cryopeak LNG Solutions Corp. has started constructing a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) production facility in Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, designed to produce up to 90,000 gpd (340,687 L/d) of LNG. The facility will serve as the first fully funded and permitted LNG production station in the Fort Nelson area.
The facility, the closest LNG production point to northern Canada and parts of Alaska, incorporates a new truck loading system to optimize loading Cryopeak’s flet of LNG Super-B tankers.
Cryopeak, based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, selected CryoSys, LLC for the liquefaction equipment to produce the LNG, which will be used to serve Northern Canada.
