Mattsco Supply Acquires Tool Center Inc.

Mattsco Supply Co. has purchased Tool Center Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mattsco Supply will form Mattsco Tool Center, led by Bill Bowles, former CEO of Tool Center Inc.

In the coming weeks, Mattsco Supply will absorb all Tool Center assets and evaluate all tooling distribution agreements. The company will formally launch into the tooling segment by Aug. 10.

Mattsco Supply has also signed a preferred distributor agreement with Elliott Tool Technologies to provide tube installation and removal equipment, tube testers, tube plugs and other accessories for the heat exchanger and energy markets.

Additionally, Mattsco Supply has also established a distributor relationship with Top Cat Air Tools to provide industrial grinders, scalers and accessories for the manufacturing industry.

These moves come less than a year after a group of private investors purchased Mattsco Supply, which specializes in pipes, valves and fittings for industrial and oilfield use.
